its now confirmed that Facebook Is Not Going to Ban In Pakistan , rumours were spread earlier that facebook is going to get ban in Pakistan after petition was filled in Lahore high court subjecting the issue of hosting some blasphemous content online . Petition was filled by Azhar Siddique who himself denied the rumour and clearfied that LHC only ordered to ban certain URLS or Pages which hold such offensive content .

Express news reporter rabia mehmood verified this by having a direct conversation with mr Azhar Siddique . beside that PTA officials confirmed that they havent yet received any official order to permenantly block the access of users of facebook in Pakistan to Facebook.com

facebook have millions of users from all around the world , downtime busted other social networks like twitter with millions of tweets related to downtime of facebook.

facebook just added a new feature , its “like” or “flag” option below every user posted comment , its good to express the likeness but i still want to see “dislike” button too

Just checked facebook and its charming to see that stupid page “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” is finally disabled , atleast in Pakistan . Freedom of speech is right of every human but offensive media /content shouldnt be posted on website which is considered as “oxygen” for casual youth ,even in Pakistan .
