Online payment gateway payoneer suspended its services for customers inside Pakistan , users of Payoneer wont be able to withdraw funds from ATM machines nationwide , but users will be able to shop online using payoneer , its very common payment gateway for Pakistanis who cant avail paypal services .payoneer suspended its service after Pakistan’s Anti Money laundering law expired .

i think govt should think about this and should renew this act asap or else many Pakistani Freelancers wont be able to withdraw funds instantly .

i decided to try Wateen Wimax usb for my laptop this season  ,i am using Link dot NET  for 1-2 Years now , but as its winters here and i prefer to work in bed most of the time lol , i heared that wateen is now offering USB wimax device after reading their Advertising banner illustrating that they are offering service in my Area  ( i am living in Punjab Society , Near DHA , Lahore  these days )   , so i decided to give it a try i purchased this device for almost like  rs 2500 with one month advance internet fee , i was told to verify the signal strength before registring device so in case it wouldnt work i can return and get my refund  , so  as guided i pluigged it into my laptop and it was initially giving signal strength like 80-100 % was quite happy and excited so i ordered to register the device so i can start using internet over that  , once i got confirmatory email from Wateen i dediced to use internet over that but worst nightware was there after i enter my username and password there and click connect signal drops to 20% and LAN doesn’t connect . i tried on desktop pc too but same results , tried calling their call centers but they are guiding me to ask for a refund to representative  Franchise . As i purchased device from a small outlet in Hafeez Center Lahore so they are recommending me to contact Wateen’s Support center . No wimax for me   still awaiting full wateen service  . my next aim would be to try PTCL EVO with 3.1 MB/Sec Link .

just a single suggestion if you have plans to purchase wateen dongle make sure you have full and best Wateen coverage in your area .

Abbottabad located between the high mountains of  Hazara Division of NWFP   was ones a stronghold of British Army in early 18th  and 19th century .Abbottabad was selected as a home and army mess for many Britishers as it was requirement in that time to have a Army strong hold near the most tensed area of that time  , yeah it was Khyber Pass area ,

in that British  regime  ,some prominent buildings / barracks were constructed which still remain the part of Abbottabad but are in endangered condition .

there was a good relation between locals and British Army men that time which can be judged by fact that city “Abbott-Abad ” was named after A great Abbott.

after recent earthquake many old buildings are endangered Gov and municipal Admins must have to pay a bit attention to this situation of Hazara region will loose a major part of its heritage.
